Job Title : Band 8 a Lead Obstetric Sonographer Banding: Band 8a Location : Brighton Start: ASAP Duration : Full time Rate : £ 55 - £ 60 per day Working hours: Monday – Friday, 08:30-17:00pm We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Band 8a Lead Obstetric Sonographer to join our clients team in Brighton. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to lead and manage our client's obstetric sonography services, ensuring the highest standards of care for their patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the sonography team, conducting advanced obstetric scans, and contributing to the development of their services. What will your responsibilities be : As the Lead Obstetric Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing detailed obstetric ultrasound examinations, interpreting results, and providing comprehensive reports. You will lead and support a team of sonographers, ensuring adherence to best practices and protocols. Your role will also involve training and mentoring junior staff, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated care, and participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery. Qualifications and Experiences: Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent HCPC registration Postgraduate qualification in Obstetric Sonography Minimum of 5 years' experience in obstetric sonography Proven leadership and management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong clinical and technical expertise in obstetric ultrasound Commitment to continuous professional development and education Why work with Pulse?
