Who you'll be supporting & more about the role : We are seeking - 2 x Full Time Support Workers (37.5hrs per week). We are aged between 18-65 We have different support needs from Mental Health to Learning Disabilities. Service Specific training would include; Management of potential aggression, Autism, Emergency First Aid Safeguarding Adults, Duty of Care, MCA and DOLs. What is important to us

* Both buildings are 3 stories high, block 15 has a lift to all floors, whereas block 12 has stairs.
* We have communal gardens around our homes for all to use.
* We live within our own flats and we enjoy mixing with other residents within our own homes.
* We have lots of neighbours, some own their own properties.
* We have 3 car parks for parking vehicles with many spaces.
The local community is diverse - Lots of supermarkets, takeaways, pubs and clubs are within reach via walking distance or public transport every 10 mins into the town centre of Bradford and towards Halifax and Huddersfield.
* There are bus services and train links within easy reach of the service.
* We have Bradford city centre local and also easy access to Leeds which has lots to offer in terms of activities. Halifax and Huddersfield are also within easy access in the opposite direction.
* We have lots of places to eat, activity centres and local amenities local to the service.
Other information
* We usually have around 5 colleagues on shift at any one time during the day, and 2 on a night.
* We have core shifts 8am to 8pm, night shifts 8pm to 8am, 1-1 shifts 9-5 / 10-6 and some of us receive 1-1 support hours from 9-6 and 07 : 30 to 22 : 00.
* What we need from you is to be open minded to be able to work within a team of carers to ensure the safety of the people we support, staff and external providers.
