You can earn between £35-£45 an hour delivering individuals 1:1 sessions in their own homes, in a time frame that works best for you.

Person Specification
* You will have a Qualified Teaching Status certificate or equivalent.
* You will have at least two years teaching experience post NQT.
* You will have extensive experience working with students with a range of complex additional needs.
* Understanding of how to work in a child-centred, holistic way.
* You will have the ingenuity and creativity to make the curriculum work in an individual, student-centred way.
* You will be willing to register as self-employed.
* You will have a strong commitment to safeguarding.
* You will have the resilience to manage potentially challenging situations.
* Experience supporting secondary age or post 16 young people.
* You'll work with a trauma informed approach.
Role Description
* Developing strong professional relationships with children and young people who have a range of needs and who have often experienced significant difficulties in previous education settings.
* Understand the importance of emotional regulation and can implement strategies to support/model this appropriately.
* Be part of developing and delivering a holistic curriculum that focuses on all four areas of the EHCP.
* Create interest based learning opportunities linked to students' targets.
* Have detailed knowledge of a trauma informed approach.
* Following the guidance in each person's individual risk assessment/student plan to support them to manage their anxiety and behaviour in a positive way and to keep them and others safe.
* Utilise a range of strategies in supporting the range of additional needs we work with.
