About the role
We seek Senior Managers for our Corporate Tax team, handling advisory and audit of tax work. This role supports the growth of our Audit of Tax Specialist (ATS) Network, aiding complex corporate tax audits. The ATS network includes core and non-core team members.
As a Corporate Tax Senior Manager, you will collaborate with experienced tax and audit staff, apply tax technical skills, participate in training, and utilize internal resources. This role offers development opportunities, a clear path to director level, and potential to become a Partner. You will build trusted client relationships and drive the ATS network, promoting best practices and supporting training and technology initiatives.
What your days will look like:
1. Manage a client portfolio of tax advisory work, liaising with specialists and client teams.
2. Deliver complex tax audits, ensuring compliance with methodologies and standards.
3. Provide detailed tax advice to clients and manage junior team members.
4. Consider audit issues, tax risks, and play a key role in the development of the tax team.
This role is for you if:
1. Must possess ACA/ACCA/ATT/CTA/legal qualification or an international equivalent.
2. Audit of tax experience on international projects, strong tax accounting background, and knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
3. Ability to manage multiple client teams, build strong relationships, and provide tax accounting assistance and advice.
4. Strong analytical skills, understanding of audit risk, and focus on self-development and team development.
