Care in Mind provide residential services for young people aged 16-25 years old. The young people we care for often require a high level of support to assist with difficulties they may have from self-harming, behaviour, and emotional difficulties. Our aim is to support the young people using a therapeutic approach to help them achieve their individual goals, in preparation for transition to adult life. As a Learning and Development Co-ordinator you will play a key role providing efficient and effective training support to managers, employees and the People Services Team. You will work in a friendly team ensuring that induction training is co-ordinated and that candidates have a successful onboarding experience. You will supervise a Learning and Development Assistant and work as a team to oversee compliance levels for training and ensure that training is evaluated effectively. You will support the People Services Manager to deliver induction training and will ensure staff are developed in line with best practice and regulatory guidance. You will be responsible for monitoring and implementing the apprenticeship programme and will report monthly on training KPI data. To be successful in this role you will have previous learning and development experience and will understand the importance of training compliance and staff development. You will have excellent IT skills, particularly in excel and will have experience of producing data and reports. You will have excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail and a passion for staff engagement. You will also have fantastic organisational skills and have to ability to be resilient and challenge when required. You be required to travel to training venues on occasions so access to a car for company purposes is essential.
