About the role
As a Product Support Technician, you will assist the company in achieving its business objectives and revenue targets by delivering professional product support and use your knowledge and experience to service the product and feedback to product management and work with them to resolve any issues and your responsibilities will include:
1. Conduct calibration / service and repair of complete company product range
2. Run ‘specialised’ tests and other products as and when required
3. Operate and develop service procedures in accordance with business requirements
4. Assist customers and distributors in the effective use of company products
5. Provide service training to strategic partners
6. Demonstrate a friendly and cooperative attitude in all aspects of working with other staff
7. Maintain an up to date and comprehensive knowledge of the Company’s products and services
8. Ensure that all activities are undertaken and controlled in accordance with the Quality Management System (QMS)
9. Maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) to measure performance and demonstrate continual improvement.
About you
To be successful for the role of Product Support Technician you must be / have:
10. Minimum of 4 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grade C and above including Maths and English
11. HNC/ONC equivalent in electronics (desirable but not essential)
12. Experience in electronic, electrical or instrumentation (essential)
13. Competent with MS office, especially Word and Excel
14. Demonstrated ability working within a QMS environment
15. Experience with component level fault finding

About the hours & rewards
For the role of Product Support Technician your hours of work will be Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 4.30pm and Friday 8.30am to 4pm with a 30-minute lunch break and there is a salary on offer of £21,000 to £27,000 per annum, depending on experience plus:
