The Management Accountant will play an active role in strategic decision-making, providing financial insights to support business growth. This is a role that requires commercial awareness and a proactive approach to improving financial performance. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting : Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports, including regional P&L, balance sheets, and variance analyses. Budgeting & Forecasting : Assist in developing annual budgets and financial forecasts, monitoring performance against targets. Cost & Performance Analysis : Assess costs and expenditures, identifying opportunities for efficiency and gross margin improvement, including fleet management. Strategic Financial Planning : Develop financial models to support business growth and decision-making. Cash Flow Management : Monitor and forecast working capital to ensure liquidity for operations and investments. Variance Analysis : Conduct in-depth analysis to explain budget deviations and highlight key financial drivers. KPI Reporting : Track and report on key performance indicators to measure business success and recommend improvements. Business Partnering : Work closely with operational teams to improve processes and procedures in line with the company’s growth strategy. Compliance & Governance : Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations. Qualifications & Skills Education : Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Certification : Part-qualified or fully qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA). Experience : Proven experience in management accounting or a similar role. Technical Expertise : Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. Analytical Skills : Ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights. Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
