As Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient Engineering operation of all plant and equipment, along with the supply of all services throughout the Hotel. This includes, but is not limited to:
1. Ensuring a prompt response is afforded to all guest related maintenance requests
2. Liaise with external contractors when necessary, to carry out all tasks proficiently
3. Supervising the team with regard to good engineering practices and a focus on painting tasks
This is a full time, permanent role working 37.5 hours per week on a shift Rota basis, to include weekends.
Qualifications
About you:
Previous experience in a similar role is required, working within a hotel operation within a maintenance team would be an advantage. You will be a team player, who can be flexible to meet our guest needs. A good level of verbal and written English is a must, as is basic computer skills and an eye for detail and high standards.
Qualifications in an electrical background, in particular City & Guilds Electrical discipline competency Parts 1 & 2 would be advantageous, as would qualifications in 17th / 18th Edition IEE Regulations and the use of systems such as Hot Sos.
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three-to-six-month related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Working under pressure, you will be able to diffuse conflict, act quickly in response to changing guest demands and requirements.
