We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Officer on a fixed term contract until July 2026 to provide vital support to our Academies.
As an HR Officer, you will play a key role in delivering effective HR support across the Trust, ensuring policies and procedures are implemented efficiently. Working closely with HR Partners, you will be the first point of contact for HR queries, assist with employee relations cases, and contribute to workforce planning to ensure the success of our staff.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the first point of contact for HR queries, providing guidance on policies and procedures.
* Support the implementation of HR strategies across the Trust.
* Assist with employee relations case management, including disciplinaries, grievances, and investigations.
* Administer complex HR processes such as redundancies and TUPE transfers.
* Lead on absence management, probation, and SMS processes.
* Liaise with the HR Operations team to monitor sickness absence and ensure compliance with policies.
* Provide administrative support to the HR team, including data preparation, workforce planning, and minute-taking.
About You
* To thrive in this role, you will need:
* Previous HR experience, ideally within education or a similar sector.
* Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment law.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* The ability to work proactively and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
