We are currently recruiting for an experienced Used Car Sales Controller to join a fast-paced and high-volume used car dealership in Hinckley. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a thriving environment with a strong support team and excellent earning potential.
Role Overview:
As a Used Car Sales Controller, you will be working in a busy showroom with a high footfall, selling quality used vehicles while ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. You will also play a key role in managing the sales team, ensuring compliance with FCA regulations, and supporting the overall performance of the site.
What's on Offer:
1. Basic Salary: £30,000
2. OTE: Up to £60,000
3. 28 Days Holiday
4. Full-time, Permanent Role
5. 42.5-hour contract (5 days a week)
6. Monday - Friday: 10am-7pm
7. Saturday: 10am-6pm
8. Sunday: 10am-4pm
9. Full training and development provided
10. Driving licence required
Key Responsibilities:
1. Overseeing the sales team and driving performance to achieve targets
2. Supporting and mentoring team members in closing deals
3. Ensuring compliance with FCA regulations and financial documentation
4. Managing the sales process, from enquiry to delivery
5. Identifying opportunities to maximise revenue through value-added products
6. Carrying out General Manager responsibilities when required
7. Monitoring and auditing deal presentations to ensure accuracy and compliance
The Ideal Candidate:
1. Proven experience in used car sales
2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and drive a team
3. Professional and presentable with excellent customer service skills
4. FCA accredited (or willing to undergo training)
5. Experience in high-volume car supermarkets is advantageous
6. A hands-on approach with a passion for sales and automotive retail
