This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and ambitious PhD graduate with experience in computing, physical sciences, statistics or the data sciences to contribute to the impact of digital healthcare initiatives in oncology and radiotherapy. The postholder will play a crucial role in developing the digital research infrastructure at the MCRC to deliver a world-class research platform, including linkage of clinical data with complex imaging and biological data sources, and manage the interface of these systems to the regional Secure Data Environment (SDE) ecosphere. They will develop and implement advanced analysis methodologies and machine learning / AI based technologies to enable the rapid and innovative analysis of large cohorts of patients. The post holder will develop strong relationships and work alongside clinical and non-clinical researchers within the digital radiotherapy group and colleagues within the MCRC and wider university schools.
