This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly successful oversubscribed school. We are seeking to appoint a highly skilled,
experienced and motivated Curriculum Leader for Performing Arts, with the ability to teach Drama and/or Music and who will
inspire other teachers to develop their practice. The role of the Curriculum Area Leader is essential in our drive to achieve the
highest standard of teaching and learning in every classroom, through individual coaching and mentoring and delivering CPD or
training as required The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a love for Performing Arts to include Drama, Music and
Dance, and a commitment to making a difference to the lives of young people. They will also model and promote our Christian
values.
The contract will run on a permanent basis from September 2025 or sooner.

We are seeking a dynamic, passionate, and visionary Curriculum Leader of Performing Arts to lead our well-established
department of four dedicated staff. This is a rare opportunity to shape and grow a successful Curriculum Area, champion cultural
capital, and inspire students to excel creatively while upholding the school’s Christian ethos.
The post is suitable for a highly motivated aspiring or established leader with a passion for the performing arts. They will have
experience teaching Drama, Music, or Dance at KS3-4 (with specialism in one or more) and a proven ability to lead, inspire, and
manage a team.
They will have a commitment to enriching students’ cultural capital and performance opportunities.
