Lay Non-Executive Director and members Required for ACP Board and Committees: The Association of Child Psychotherapists (ACP) is the professional body for Child and Adolescent Psychotherapists in the UK. It is an Accredited Register of the Professional Standards Authority (PSA) and is responsible for regulating the training and practice standards of child and adolescent psychotherapy across the NHS, third and private sectors. www.childpsychotherapy.org.uk We want to increase and diversify our geographical spread across the UK of the community of people who contribute to the crucial work of the ACP. We need a range of voices and experience in order to advance standards, promote child psychotherapy and support members. Lay Members may bring specific areas of expertise from their professional backgrounds such as business, finance, law, marketing and communications or have experience within the wider health, social care and voluntary sectors that will add to the breadth and depth of knowledge that informs the running the ACP. We are currently seeking people with an interest in one of the following roles: Lay Non-Executive Directors on the ACP Board.
