Qualified Social Worker - Ad-Hoc (Children, Young People & Families)
Location: East Riding of Yorkshire

Hourly rate: £25 - £30 (dependent on experience) - via Umbrella Company (Inside IR35)

Our client, based in East Riding of Yorkshire, is seeking dedicated professionals to join their team on an ad-hoc basis, with the potential to transition into a full-time role. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have completed their ASYE and are passionate about working with children, young people, and their families.
Role Responsibilities:
Relationship Building: Develop trusted relationships with children, young people, and their families to deliver meaningful support.
Needs Assessment: Assess intervention needs to ensure tailored and effective support for children, young people, and families.
Collaborative Planning: Co-develop intervention plans in partnership with families and partner agencies.
Support: Providing intervention and support to children, young people and families within the community.
Safeguarding: Promote and safeguard the welfare of children, young people, and their families.
Skills / Experience:
Professional Experience: A minimum of 12 months post-qualification social work experience, supported by continuous professional development, such as ASYE or equivalent CPD.
Legal Knowledge: Solid understanding of childcare legislation and the ability to apply legal frameworks in practice.
Statutory Expertise: Experience working within a statutory framework, with the ability to apply this knowledge effectively.
Strength-Based Practice: Familiarity with Signs of Safety and the ability to implement strength-based practice within a social work setting.
