The Role:
An experienced Cook is required to join a reputable charity, working as part of a friendly and supportive team. This role involves preparing and cooking meals to a high standard for various establishments located across North and Mid Wales, Cheshire, Shropshire, and Powys. Some remote administrative work will also be included.
Main Duties of the Cook:
Prepare and cook nutritious and balanced meals in accordance with dietary requirements and preferences.
Ensure the kitchen complies with health and safety standards, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
Plan menus and manage stock levels effectively to minimize waste.
Follow established procedures, policies, and guidelines to deliver high-quality food service.
Candidate:
The successfully appointed Cook will have:
Experience in a professional kitchen or catering environment.
Excellent organisational, time management, and communication skills.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
A passion for creating delicious and nutritious meals.
