Securtity Systems Engineer - £26,000 - £34,000 (depending on experience) - Yorkshire
Peopleforce Recruitment is delighted to be supporting the growth of a Fire and Security company and in doing so are seeking out a Junior Security Engineer in Yorkshire. This is a well-established business providing integrated security solutions since 2010. The company offers a wide range of services including SIA guarding, close protection, canine dog handling and corporate surveillance. Moreover, they provide temporary site security solutions like rapid deployment cameras and live feed analytic systems, as well as permanent site security, including CCTV systems, intruder alarms, fire protection and access control. Their services extend to various industries such as rail, construction, manufacturing, education and residential sectors.
We are looking for somebody with some experience working with CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems either on the installation or servicing side.If the candidate has experience with Ajax it would be advantageous.
Responsibilities
* Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as standards such as ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 14001 (environment), ISO 45001 (health and safety), the Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS), the Railway Industry Supplier Questionnaire Scheme (RISQS), and the Security Systems and Alarms Inspection Board (SSAIB).
* Manage deployment and collection of equipment.
* Perform maintenance tasks, including re-gassing and addressing faults.
* Service equipment that is off hired.
* Repair faulty equipment to ensure it is ready for hire.
* Conduct site surveys.
* Support other engineers with any issues they may face.
* Assist senior engineers with permanent installations.
* Provide help to senior engineers with planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
* Over time, take on the responsibility of leading permanent installations.
* Work from site drawings and specifications.
* Participate in training opportunities for personal development.
* Be capable of cabling for intruder alarms, CCTV cameras, and access control systems.
* Be able to install devices for intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control.
* Ensure compliance with the CDM Regulations 2015 when acting as the contractor, as outlined in the management procedure BDSR 114.
