The opportunity
As a result of our continued growth and successful acquisition trail, we are now looking for a Group Payroll Administrator to join our HR / Operations team in Guiseley on a hybrid basis.
Reporting to the Group Payroll Manager, your main duties and responsibilities will be: -
* Support the Group Payroll Manager to run monthly payrolls, ensuring accuracy before payment.
* Maintain employee records in Cascade
* Process new starters and accurately record leavers on payroll system
* Update tax codes, payroll deductions, and student loan information from HMRC.
* Post payroll journals monthly into the ERP system
* Produce P45s for employees upon leaving
* Ensure RTI is updated weekly and E submissions are sent to HMRC
* Ensure all payroll information and reports are sent to the accounts department
* Update variations and wage increases on payroll system (cascade)
* Support payroll manager in administering the pension scheme, including auto-enrolment and company pensions
* Calculate and pay SMP, SPP, AOE, DWP, and CSA
* Address queries and wage corrections as needed
* Monitor and action items and queries sent to group Payroll inbox
Requirements:
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills.
* Proven experience in payroll administration.
* Must be a very strong payroll professional with attention to detail.
* Proficiency in payroll software (experience in Cascade software preferred).
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills.
