We are expanding and looking to recruit a Multi-Trade-Operative Plumber within our Housing Maintenance Team!
Duties include a wide range of activities within your specific plumbing trade and associated shadow duties from one or more unrelated trades.
Multi-Trade-Operative Plumber Role:
To undertake remedial repair works to plumbing, heating and drainage systems including the installation of pipework, radiators, and heating controls/valves to domestic and commercial properties.
Carry out above ground drainage works including the installation and remedial works of rainwater goods.
Carry out basic building related trade activities to assist with the smooth progression of a plumbing works. This will include the cutting out of worktops for installation of sinks, refixing of boxing in/ducting, removal and replacement of timber flooring, and the execution of small quantities of ceramic wall tiling, floor tiling and painting works.
About You
You will be experienced and/or qualified in Plumbing. As the work is varied a flexible approach is required to meet changing needs and tight deadlines.
Excellent customer service skills, enthusiasm, and a ‘can do’ attitude are essential as you will be our ambassador when visiting our customers’ homes. Attention to details is a must to ensure that repairs and installations are completed to the highest standards on your first visit.
You will liaise with residents, peers, and colleagues daily, as such, communication and customer focus will be essential to this role. Organisational skills, customer service, time management and physical skills are also key.
