Graduate Trainee – Transformation
36-month fixed term contract
37 hours per week
Salary NS5 £25,183 to £25,584 per annum
Kickstart your career in transformation with us! We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Trainee to join our Transformation team. In this role, you'll gain hands-on experience in data analysis, customer engagement, performance management, and project support. Over time, you'll develop the skills to coordinate and deliver impactful projects, from service improvements to carbon reduction initiatives. You'll also work closely with our team to support a variety of exciting projects that drive real change. If you're eager to learn, grow, and make a difference, we’d love to hear from you!
The role:
* To work within the Transformation Business Unit to contribute to the delivery of activities outlined in the Council’s Community Plan.
* To play a key supporting role in specific transformational projects and reviews to deliver improvements; from supporting the lead officer to gather data and information to developing discussion documents and presentations.
* To prepare project documentation such as project plans, risk registers, and reports on project progress under the guidance of the Officers from within the team.
* To co-ordinate project team meetings and support the delivery of those meetings, identifying key actions and chasing activities where relevant.
What we are looking for:
* Experience of undertaking project work
* Experience of report writing
* Educated to degree level
* English and Maths GCSE, grade A-C
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages
