Job Role: Project Planner
Location: Derby
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
As our client's service continues to flourish into AMP8, they are looking to strengthen their Planning team with a Planner. Based in the Severn Trent Water region, you will report directly to the Framework Programme Manager working on a range of clean and wastewater projects.

An excellent team working ethos is essential to fulfil the job role. Travel will be necessary within the region to fulfil the operational support requirement of the business.
About the Role:
Collaboratively develop and maintain robust detailed project plans for the full project lifecycle.
Ensure project plans capture the full project scope and resources are considered and loaded as required.
Pro-actively identify opportunities and risks in the plan and monitor the critical path and key milestones, advising the delivery team on any potential changes.
Review and challenge supply chain programmes and ensure these are monitored and incorporated with the main project plan.
Develop programmes in line with our clients' planning procedures including but not limited to;
Implementation of all required project and activity codes
Baseline management
Production of programme narrative for submission to client
Schedule quality and integrity checks completed periodically.
About you:
Experience of working on relevant projects within the Water Industry.
Primavera P6 experience
Understand collaborative planning processes, you'll have the ability to:
Interrogate drawings to implement efficient planning service to the business.
Support detailed claims programme development and implement any contractual changes to the programme.
Good ability to communicate complex information to a wide range of audiences.
Working in a pressurised situations to tight deadlines will be crucial.
Adaptable as required to meet project objectives.
Curious and supportive to both learn from and support other members of the teams to enhance the reputation of the planning team amongst the business.
