Job Title: Studio IT Support Admin Location: Manchester Science Park, Manchester, M15 6GZ 5 days in office initially; later some flexibility is possible Duration: Starts with 6 months will go longer 40 hours/ week Time zone: Local business hours Qualifications: - At least 3 years of experience in an enterprise technical IT support environment. - A strong foundation in Active Directory, Desktop Administration, and troubleshooting. - Proficient with ticketing systems and adherence to ticket resolution within SLAs. - Familiarity with Okta and other IAM tools. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - A relevant degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field is preferred. - Industry certifications in IT support and administration are highly valued. Skills: - Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills. - Independent work ethic with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. - Sharp analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - A team-oriented mindset with a collaborative spirit. - Experience with JIRA Service Desk or similar help desk ticketing systems is a plus. Technical Skills: - Expertise in diagnosing complex IT problems and implementing solutions. - Understanding of desktop architecture and the ability to build and repair custom desktops. - Familiarity with remote support tools and maintaining desktop documentation (Confluence is a plus). - Knowledge of incident troubleshooting and escalation processes. - Basic grasp of network protocols and troubleshooting for wireless, LAN, and WAN networks. - Server room/data center experience, including maintenance and proactive system monitoring. - Proficiency in Windows 10/11; Server 2008/2012/2016/2019 experience is advantageous. - Hands-on experience with Mac OS and MDM tools (e.g., Intune/Azure, Previo Fleet). - Competence in supporting video conferencing solutions such as Zoom and its associated hardware. - Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or similar languages are desirable. - Familiarity with version control systems like Git or Perforce is a plus.
