Main duties of the job
As a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, you'll provide comprehensive women's care, managing diverse gynaecological conditions and maternity services. This includes antenatal care, labour ward management, and postnatal care. You will also be diagnosing and treating complex gynaecological cases, MDT working, and contributing to specialist services. Essential skills include clinical expertise, teamwork, communication, and decision-making. Qualities include adaptability, collaboration, and a commitment to high-quality care.
To deliver gynaecology and maternity services, including emergency care, antenatal clinics, labour ward management, and specialist clinics. Participate in teaching, audit, and service development.
