We are seeking a dynamic, passionate, and highly skilled Pre Sales Engineer to join our team. As a Pre Sales Engineer, you will collaborate closely with the Sales Team and Account Management team to understand prospective customers technical requirements, and provide technical expertise of PVcase product portfolio. Your technical expertise and ability to effectively communicate complex concepts will be instrumental in driving new sales and building strong customer relationships. Responsibilities Develop an in-depth understanding of our PVcase software portfolio and stay updated on industry trends and advancements. Act as a subject matter expert, providing technical guidance and support to the sales team and account managers. Translate customer requirements into technical specifications, ensuring the alignment of our solutions with customer needs. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to effectively communicate the features, benefits, and value proposition of our solutions. Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify potential customers and new business opportunities. Assist in preparing and delivering technical presentations, demonstrations, documents, and other technical sales-related materials. Work closely with the sales team to address customer inquiries, technical concerns, and objections. Support Sales and Marketing with Technical Content creation and delivery of product demonstrations on Marketing events such as Webinars and Live events. Provide product feedback and feature requests to Product Teams. Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales process. Conduct technical workshops, events, and training sessions to educate customers on our solutions and address any technical concerns or questions. It may require some post-sales technical support to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project implementation. Proactively identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling based on customer needs and project requirements. Bachelor's degree in engineering, renewable energy, or a related field. Proven experience in a pre-sales engineering or technical sales role, preferably within the solar energy industry or similar field. Strong technical knowledge of utility-scale solar engineering solutions (C&I roof mount solutions, energy modeling, and GIS is a plus). Excellent customer-facing communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage prospective customers and convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, project management, and operations. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in an agile and fast-paced environment. Willingness to travel 25% of the time to attend events, visit customers, or PVcase offices. English and German language skills (another additional language is a HUGE BONUS).
