Job Description
* Serve as your accounts' primary relationship management executive, with accountability for revenue generation and development of emerging opportunities.
* Understand customers’ business requirements and recommend solutions from our portfolio in a consultative manner to address scientific, automation, and business challenges.
* You’ll network across all organizational levels, from C-level executives to lab technicians, facilitating brainstorming sessions, developing proposals, and negotiating deals,
* You'll drive a solution-oriented sales process, using resources throughout the sales cycle to develop and maintain positive relationships with key clients, ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction.
* Identify potential business prospects and actively contribute to sales growth to achieve and surpass set targets.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and successfully implement tailored solutions.
* Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and optimize sales strategies, maintaining systems and updating prospect records.
* Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to important decision-makers.
Qualifications
To be successful you need:
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a biological or life sciences wet-lab or business development role. We have a preferred emphasis on molecular and cell biology and related applications
Familiarity in a sales role, particularly in the B2B sector, is highly valued, along with a proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
As a successful candidate, you'll possess exceptional communication and negotiation skills, enabling you to build rapport and influence decision-makers effectively. You'll also demonstrate a knack for problem-solving, understanding client needs, and delivering tailored solutions.
Organisation and time management are key in this role, as you'll need to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
