This is an exciting opportunity to join EVER Pharma UK as a field/home based Hybrid Key Account Manager. You will need to demonstrate evidence of delivering against KPIs, securing access in a resource constrained environment & enjoy operating in a demanding market.
As a Hybrid Key Account Manager, you will build and execute business plans for your assigned territory; drive sales performance, market share and develop effective professional business relationships with customers. Additionally, you will implement robust account plans with complex customers including hospitals, institutions and local health authorities.
As a Hybrid Key Account Manager, you will be expected to apportion your time effectively between developing current in-field accounts while building relationships and business with a multi-channel approach.
Location/Territory:
In-field Territory will include but is not limited to: South Wales, Hereford, Worcester, Gloucester, Bristol, Bath, Southwest England and Salisbury.
Multi-Channel Territory will include but is not limited to: Southeast England, London, East of England and Scotland.
Reports to: General Manager
Responsibilities:
* Execute account plans for assigned product lines/brands, customers or therapeutic area; and develop new business opportunities.
* Apply customer mapping and process analysis to identify key decision-makers, influencers, stakeholders, and patient and funding flows within defined accounts.
* Apply detailed mapping and analysis to understand customer networks, interactions and decision-making processes.
* Develop and apply an understanding of customer organisations and networks and of diverse influences that affect customer decisions (e.g. peer relationships).
* Adapt and optimise approach and communication style during sales interactions, responding appropriately to customer needs.
* Develop productive business relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
* Make effective use of available technologies and channels (MKAM) to support sales interactions.
* Ensure that EVER Pharma UK products and supporting services are broadly understood and available to more patients and customers.
* Deploy and use Marketing and Sales promotional materials and programs; coordinate approved direct promotion programs and facilitate pull-through activities.
* Develop deep specialist product and disease state knowledge in a specific therapeutic area and leverage this to build professional customer relationships and support sound clinical discussions.
* Allocate resources effectively including budget.
* Integrate customer-facing activities in cross-functional teams including Commercial Access and Marketing to achieve sales targets.
* Travel to Multi-Channel accounts may be required on occasion if necessary.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
* Demonstrated success of Pharmaceutical sales.
* Demonstrated understanding of the UK healthcare system and Pharmaceutical industry.
* Proven track record of Key Account Management in a specialised Secondary Care environment.
* Experience of speciality therapies involving patient initiation in Secondary Care followed by maintenance in Primary Care.
* Experience in funding routes and shared care between NHS Trusts and CCGs.
* Degree educated (or equivalent).
* Computer literate – proficient in Word, Excel, Email, Internet and ability to pick up new in-house systems.
* Current UK driving licence (or equivalent).
* Living on in-field territory.
* Demonstrable experience in multi-channel selling.
* Experience of the Parkinson's Therapy Market.
* Previous Healthcare Management or Market Access experience.
