Job summary Shephall Health Centre has a fantastic opportunity for an Advanced Nurse Practioner to join our team on a full-time basis as our current post holder is relocating out of area. T his is a varied role and will give the post holder the opportunity to make a lasting, positive impact on peoples lives The role will require you to participate in all aspects of patient care through knowledge gained from your training and work experience in a primary care setting You will be working as part of an allied healthcare professional team including Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Pharmacists, GP Nurses and Healthcare Assistant, and will be supported and supervised by a GP. The role will offer the post-holder the opportunity to build on their experience of working effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team, as well as developing positive new working relationships across organisational and professional boundaries This is a full-time role. Mon-Fri ,10am to 6pm with 30 mins lunch break. With one Saturday a month in addition T Main duties of the job The main responsibilities of the role include: Minor illness clinics Supporting Duty Doctor, working to a framework according to competencies Chronic disease management COPD/Asthma/AF/HF/Hypertension/DM, etc Performing urgent tests such as bloods, ECGs, dermatoscope Review normal pathology results and file plus abnormal bloods working to a protocol QOF/Enhanced service targets Home visits Administrative duties include reviewing correspondence and coding or follow -up as required Making any referrals following discussion with a GP Play a role in education for student placements. Respiratory Spirometry certification preferred. Special interests such as womens health, etc also encouraged.
