About the service:Ty Cwm is a 20-bed nursing facility in Johnstown, near Carmarthen, for individuals with physical disabilities. It offers en-suite rooms, communal lounges, a sensory room, and a physiotherapy space.As a Nurse your key duties include:Ensure the highest possible standards of care, assessing residents' needs and wishes, and developing services to enhance their quality of lifeChampion appropriate independence and personal choice; developing, reviewing and updating care plans to meet our resident’s physical, social and psychological needsOversee all aspects of medicine management on your shift - ensuring medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered, in accordance with company policies and current legislationBuild the positive reputation of the Business; liaise professionally with visitors and other external stakeholdersEnsure compliance with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines - identify, investigate and resolve risks proactivelySupport, guide, teach and mentor others in line with the NMC Code, following its guidance at all timesThe following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:The ability to lead a team, analyse problems and propose solutions or improvementsAble to communicate effectively and to develop professional relationshipsUnderstands and effectively uses IT and communication systems required for the roleRespectful of the values, views and needs of othersAble to work under pressure and prioritise workloadExperience of delivering nursing care within elderly health care sectorExperience of participating in quality and clinical governance programmesSalary: £21.63 per hour Working Hours: Bank Contract APPLY TODAY!
