Job Title: ICT Teacher
Location: Lincoln
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 15:30 (Term Time Only)
Pay: Starting at £180 per day (with potential to rise depending on experience)
Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated ICT Teacher with a passion for empowering students through technology? We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team and support both secondary and SEN students in Lincoln, helping them develop their ICT skills and prepare for the future.
About the Role:
As an ICT Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across secondary and SEN settings, helping students of varying abilities gain confidence and proficiency in Information and Communication Technology. You’ll play an integral role in supporting students' learning and development in a subject that is increasingly essential in today’s world.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver high-quality ICT lessons tailored to the needs of secondary and SEN students
2. Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment
3. Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback
4. Adapt teaching methods to suit the learning requirements of individual students
5. Encourage student engagement with ICT topics, from basic computer skills to more advanced concepts
6. Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for all students
Requirements:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
2. Experience teaching ICT at secondary school level, with a focus on supporting students with additional needs
3. Strong knowledge of ICT and how to make it accessible to a diverse range of learners
4. Excellent communication, classroom management, and organisational skills
5. A passion for teaching and a commitment to supporting students' learning and development
