Principal Planning Lead Leeds - 1 day onsite per week 10 month contract to start in June £550 - £650/day outside IR35 Lorien's Betting and Gaming client are currently recruiting for a Principal Planning Lead to join on an outside IR35 contract basis. Core Responsibilities: Capex Planning and Governance : The Principal Planning Lead works in partnership with wider operations team to ensure we have controls and measures in place to be able to provide transparency on finances (costs) vs value delivered (per domain and per market lens). They are responsible for the governance, control, and maintenance of the Capex planning process (Quarterly & annually) and that the correct checks and balances are in place on a day to day basis. Resource planning and Governance : They are responsible for the governance, control and maintenance of the Technology Headcount Plan and with the Portfolio Analyst team, drive initiatives to improve capex utilisation of staff. Reporting : Owns various types of reporting and regularly reviews the resource reporting requirements to look for improvements to ensure customers are receiving the right level of information. Re-charge : Takes the lead on maintenance of finance recharge tools/systems and looks for ways to align and improve usability for all brands, ensuring evidence is available for capitalisation for audit purposes for all brands. Key Skills: Financial and Operational Expertise : Financial, operational and governance excellence for Portfolios with the ability to see the bigger picture Problem Solving Skills : Understanding the necessity of clear problem framing, success measurements, solution implementation. Metrics and Data-Driven Decision Making : Exceptional analytical skills to measure, analyse, adapt and provide valuable insights on financial and resource costs. The ability to flex and work within the detail but then at a higher level when required. Leadership and Communication : The ability to inspire, motivate, and lead a large and diverse delivery organization. Exceptional communication skills are essential for clear direction and stakeholder management, including Exec level. Change Management : The ability to navigate change effectively, adapt to evolving priorities, and lead the delivery unit through periods of transformation, able to move through the change curve quickly and focus on future benefits, implementation and issue resolution.
