This is an exciting opportunity for a Sales Team Manager to head up their sales team, being part of the development and growth of an already successful team.
What your day will look like:
1. Leadership and development of the current sales team, leading the way for the team to achieve sales targets.
2. Using performance-related methodology to improve and explore the team's individual sales strategies.
3. Hands-on training and coaching of individual team members.
4. Conducting team-wide training sessions around product, sales techniques, and engagement strategies.
5. Training through call shadowing and side-by-side support.
6. Collaborating with the senior leadership team on projects, initiatives, and development plans.
7. Succession planning for the team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in service-based selling. You may already be managing a sales team, or you have come from a sales background with the desire to manage a team, as our client is happy to train and develop someone in this role. Experience selling to the construction or a relevant industry would be desirable.
Salary: up to £40,000 dependent on experience, with a commission structure, health cash plan, Employee Assistance Programme, Eye Care Scheme, and competitive pension scheme.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.
