I am working with a top firm in Birmingham that are looking to add a Commercial Property Solicitor to their highly regarded firm. My client are looking for someone to take on a varied caseload with relatively little supervision from partners, and demonstrate their own ability to run a desk whilst also assisting with firm wide tasks such as supervising junior colleagues and taking an active role in business development efforts.
The successful candidate will be well placed to evidence leadership qualities with a view to stepping into a formal leadership position further down the line.
A typical caseload will consist of:
* Sales and purchases of all commercial properties
* Acquisition and disposal of leasehold and freehold land
* Property development
* Standard commercial transactions including leasing, mortgaging and re-mortgaging
* Business lease renewal
* Site acquisition for regeneration and development
* Landlord and tenant work
* New and existing leases
* Licensing
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a team and upon their own initiative. We are looking for ambitious individuals with a desire to take up leadership positions in the future, and can demonstrate attributes relating to such a role.
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000
