Sales Operations Coordinator
Location: B’mth hybrid position (ideally, WFH considered for the right candidate)
Working hours: 37.5hrs per week
Salary range: £28,000 to £35,000
The Role
Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), the Sales Coordinator will primarily be responsible for overseeing the sales and partnerships processes, facilitating effective communication between departments, and coordination, tracking and reporting of sales activity at various levels.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee our sales processes in order to optimise sales performance and maximise efficiency – seeking to continuously improve on current processes.
2. Facilitate and enable effective communication between sales function and other internal functions including Product, Technology, Finance, Account Management, Marketing.
3. Work closely with the sales division to deliver the agreed sales budgets, goals, KPIs and any other agreed targets.
4. Oversee the Partnerships project process, ensuring strong internal alignment and delivery of agreed solutions to time.
5. Help to coordinate, track and report on sales activity at a regional, territory and account level.
6. Manage and report on the sales pipeline and ensure robust, accurate and timely sales forecasting.
7. Analyse and report on engagement data, linking the sales performance to customer engagement, helping the organisation to identify and implement appropriate sales strategies to drive up usage.
8. Ensure all relevant sales data is captured accurately and kept continuously up to date in Salesforce, which is to be the source of truth.
9. Populate Microsoft Data Centre with required information in required format.
Key Skills & Requirements:
1. Experience in sales and customer service roles with a working knowledge of the EDTech industry.
2. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
3. Attention to detail with an organised, methodical and structured style.
4. Analytical and financially numerate.
5. Able to plan/manage and coordinate critical business meetings.
6. Ability to work under pressure and deliver to deadlines.
7. Comfortable working with a range of stakeholders at different levels.
8. Ability to work effectively and efficiently across functions, with particular emphasis on developing robust relations within the Sales division.
9. Adaptable and flexible, with a positive mind-set.
10. Swift and sound decision-making skills.
11. Problem-solving prowess.
12. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including use of collaboration tools.
13. Au fait with and confident in Salesforce.
