Welcome to Oakfield Dental, a General Dentistry and Referral Centre located in the heart of Clifton, Bristol. Our private dental practice offers a bespoke range of treatments to meet our patients’ individual needs, from routine care to specialist treatments. The Practice works as multi-disciplinary team with in house specialists to help support/mentor the successful candidate.
The Practice aims to provide patients with the full range of treatment options all in house, including cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, dental implants, sedation, Specialist Oral surgery, Specialist Endodontics, and Specialist Periodontal treatment.
We run a study club for local dentists to obtain their CPD requirements whilst providing support to our referring practitioners for mentoring.
Role Description
This is a part time role(1/2 days Monday/Friday) for a Fully Private General Dentist with an interest in prosthodontics ideally. The role involves providing general dentistry services, focusing on prosthodontics treatments, and delivering high-quality, innovative dental care to our patients. There is an opportunity for the role to become full time in the future.
The Practice Principal is very supportive in post graduate education and would help the successful candidate obtain the necessary post graduate qualifications if necessary.
Qualifications
1) BDS qualification and evidence of post graduate courses
2) GDC registration essential
3) Interest in Prosthodontics would be beneficial
4) Interest in digital dentistry
5) Previous Private Dentistry experience (>2 years) is essential
Responsibilities
1) Work with the team in providing including the hygienists and other dental colleagues in providing a seamless patient journey
2) Grow a patient base utilising the Practices excellent long term reputation in the Clifton area
3) Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments whilst providing a full treatment plan report to each patient
4) Willing to play an active role in the study clubs to stay up to date in the latest dental advancements.
