Senior Controls Engineer - The Role:
1. Conceptual design of integrated process systems
2. Preparing detailed cost estimates and outline specifications
3. Assisting Sales present/sell the solution to clients when required
4. Writing detailed functional design specifications
5. Maintaining the standard portfolio of functional design specifications
6. Design of system architecture, network connections and interfaces
7. Production of PLC & HMI software - Siemens and/or Rockwell
8. Familiarity with OPCUA communications
9. Developing new products and methods of control
10. Development of standard software modules to improve company efficiency
11. Develop and maintain standard documentation associated with controls systems such as FDS, SDS and basic electrical drawings
12. To undertake Site Installation and Commissioning, on a project-by-project basis
13. Evaluate new or existing equipment, with a capability to carry out risk assessments for safety regulations and CE / UKCA compliance.
Senior Controls Engineer - The Person:
1. Electrical/controls Engineering degree, HND or equivalent
2. Proven Engineering experience gained within the process industry.
3. Experience with both European and US Hazardous area applications (ATEX) would be an advantage
4. A sound understanding of controls systems and manufacturing methods.
5. Flexible for c25-30% commissioning in the UK & internationally, usually a week at a time, maximum of two
The ideal candidate will be skilled with both PLC software and control panel hardware design; however, PLC software is the key element of this role. Any experience of developing pneumatic driven machinery is highly advantageous.

Located in the South West of the Midlands, this role would be commutable from Worcester, Cheltenham, Evesham, Stratford-upon-Avon, Ledbury and surrounding areas.
