EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
Our Water Quality and Environment team has an opportunity for you to join as our new Compliance Analyst.
As a crucial member of our team, you'll be responsible for undertaking daily compliance checks to ensure delivery of OSM and UWWTD annual sampling plans, as well as collating and quality checking sample result data to ensure correct submission of data returns to the Environment Agency (EA) and Natural Resources Wales (NRW) in accordance with regulatory deadlines.
You will also be expected to be part of a continuous improvement culture, always seeking ways to improve our reporting and compliance standards. We are looking for a candidate experienced in working with large complex datasets and identifying anomalies & risks to compliance.
Other Key Accountabilities Include
1. Provision of technical advice, insight, and expertise on wastewater monitoring.
2. Assessing compliance against annual sampling plans and taking steps to secure compliance.
3. Supporting the effective delivery of annual Operator Monitoring Audits.
What You’ll Bring To The Role
We’re seeking our new monitoring analyst to be comfortable with using Microsoft Desktop applications and have advanced level knowledge of MS Excel, as well as experience working with regulatory data.
Apart from being a great fit for the team, you’ll ideally have a water industry background or at least a basic understanding of the key processes in sewage treatment.
Additionally, you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, good analytical and diagnostic skills, and exceptional attention to detail.
As this role involves travel, you’ll also need to hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
