Summary JOIN OUR TEAM AS A PROJECTS MANAGER (Northern Mission Enabling Team) About the Role The Projects Manager will work with the Archbishop's Mission Enabler for the North to deliver the Northern Enabling Strategy, as part of Faith in the North. This strategy has recently received £3.4 million of funding to create the conditions for an additional 600 new worshipping communities. It will involve working with leaders across the region, developing a new training programme and offering grants both for local new worshipping communities and for northern churches with the potential to revitalise other parishes. As part of the Northern Mission Enabling Team, this post will support prayer and mission in Church of England parishes across the North of England. The role connects with the wider team based at Bishopthorpe, a small, friendly, busy office in pleasant surroundings. What you'll be doing The purpose of this role is to ensure the effective organisation and delivery of the Northern Enabling Strategy to the agreed time, quality and budget expectations. Core main responsibilities Project Management Reporting on the progress of the strategy to meet the needs of specific, agreed, audiences (e.g., Northern Mission Enabling Board, Strategic Mission and Ministry Investment Board, AMEN). Participate in the Northern Enabling Team, supporting a culture that is positive, innovative and collaborative. Collaborative working with other stakeholders on the Camino Resource Church Leader Training Programme. Development and management of grant funding. Key role requirements Hybrid working arrangements and must be able to work within the office - Bishopthorpe Palace at least 1 day a week. A basic DBS check will be required as part of our pre-employment checks. This is a fixed-term appointment until 31 December 2029. What we offer Your Salary A salary of £56,833, plus age-related pension contributions between 8-15% of salary.
