Job Description
Due to growth I am working with a well-established Accountancy firm in Sidcup who are looking to bring an experienced Audit Manager into their growing Audit & Assurance team.You will be managing a varied portfolio of audit clients across multiple sectors, building strong relationships, and ensuring high standards of service. This is a hands-on role where you'll lead and develop a team, while working closely with Partners and Directors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Planning, supervising, and reviewing audit, accounts, and corporation tax work
* Managing client relationships and ensuring deadlines and expectations are met
* Supporting the development of junior staff and resolving technical queries
* Overseeing budgets, billing, and effective portfolio management
* Getting involved in ad-hoc advisory work and collaborating across departments
* Helping grow the audit offering, identifying new business opportunities and staying ahead of technical changes
The successful candidate:
* ACA or ACCA qualified, with at least 5 years post-qualified experience in practice
* Strong technical knowledge (IFRS, UK GAAP)
* Confident managing teams and clients independently
* Organised, analytical, and proactive in approach
* Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
* A genuine interest in growth, both personally and within the firm
