Yokogawa Marex has an exciting new opportunity for a dynamic and highly motivated Product Trainer. Reporting to the Sales and Services Manager, you will be responsible for creating and delivering training programs that help our clients and internal teams understand and effectively use our Plant Information Management System portfolio of software products. You will work closely with product managers, sales teams, and customer support to ensure that training materials are up-to-date and aligned with the latest product features and updates. Your role will involve conducting live training sessions, developing e-learning modules, and providing ongoing support to ensure that all users are confident and proficient in using our products. You will also be responsible for gathering feedback from training sessions to continuously improve the training programs. As a Product Trainer, you will: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for clients and internal teams Create and update existing training materials, including manuals, e-learning modules, virtualized software training environments and video tutorials Conduct live training sessions, both in-person and online Collaborate with product managers to stay updated on new features and updates Assess training needs and customize programs to meet specific requirements Maintain a thorough understanding of our products and their applications Stay current with industry trends and best practices in training and development Continuously seek ways to improve training programs and delivery methods Promote training activities to customers and affiliates We are looking for a colleague with: Background in delivering courses to an audience of IT or Process Automation engineers Background in Microsoft technologies general concepts, setup and configuration Strong communication skills in all forms including written, oral, email, telephone and presentation Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of personality types and to work with minimum supervision Self-motivation with initiative and drive to be successful and achieve targets Experience in interfacing with prospective trainees to determine training needs Problem-solving and analytical skills, attention to detail, establishing priorities, organizing time and making evaluative judgments Availability for international travel Enthusiasm, customer focus, desire for continuous quality improvement and being a team player Desirable but not essential: Bachelor level Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or similar Certification of Training Competence (for example CPLP) Hands-on experience with Plant Information Management System applications (Production reporting, process-to-business data integration, process trending and analysis, etc.) Cyber security general concepts Alarm Management and Safety Management general concepts What you can expect from us: Working at our offices in Cowes, on the Isle of Wight. 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday), with flexibility required to meet customer and business needs.
