Are you a veterinary surgeon looking for a flexible part-time position that values your time and supports your career growth? Look no further! This practice understands the importance of work-life balance and offers a part-time vacancy designed to suit your lifestyle.
The practice, located in the heart of St Annes on Sea on the Fylde Coast, is jointly owned by one of the vets and the head veterinary nurse with an NCert in anaesthesia. They are supported by a fantastic team of two vets, two RVNs, and two SVNs, plus a supportive front-of-house team who ensure the vets can focus on their cases. The nurses are actively involved and help ease the pressure on the vets by undertaking as much Schedule 3 as possible. They are passionate about growing the future of veterinary talent and seek a vet interested in coaching new grads and nurses.
They are looking for an experienced vet with at least two years in small animal practice and confidence in sole charge. Can offer flexible shifts and are ideally seeking someone to work two days per week. While they are not currently open on weekends, they do plan to open on Saturday mornings (8 am-12 noon) on a 1 in 3 rota basis.
They offer:
1. 15-Minute Appointments: Allowing you to provide the best care for your patients.
2. Organized Operations: Ops are finished by 1.30pm, and have protected lunch breaks.
3. Advanced Equipment: Including dental X-ray and complete staging of all dentals.
4. Orthopaedic Caseload: Currently building, offering TPLOs and cruciate repairs.
5. Supportive Team: Nurses scale, probe, and polish, giving you time to follow up on other cases or enjoy a cup of tea.
Benefits:
1. Competitive Salary: Up to £60k FTE DOE.
2. Holiday: 5.6 weeks including bank holidays (increasing after 2 years’ service).
3. Private Health Care Contribution.
4. Life Assurance: 4 x Annual Salary.
