We have vacancies for Band 5 Rotational Occupational Therapists to join the Trust.
This is a fixed term post for 12 months, for 37.5 hours per week.

As this is a Trustwide post, the successful candidate would be required to rotate between the Stockton or Hartlepool localities. We offer rotations in Orthopaedics (elective and trauma, Acute Medicine and surgery, Respiratory, Elderly Care, Intermediate Care/Community Therapy, Stroke Rehabilitation (Acute and Community), Paediatrics, Palliative care and Home First.

This post forms part of our band 5 rotation which offers experience in the core areas. Orthopaedics (elective and trauma, Acute Medicine and Surgery, Respiratory, Elderly Care, Intermediate Care/Community Therapy, Stroke Rehabilitation (Acute and Community), Paediatrics, Palliative care and Home First Each rotation is 6-9 months (but may change according to service needs).
Once fully developed into the Band 5 role and according to the needs of the service the post holder may have the opportunity to develop more specialist skills in non rotational band 5 posts.
The post holder will be responsible for assessing the needs of people on their caseload, devising treatment plans and devising appropriate pathways to enable people to return to their previous lifestyle where possible and practical.
The post holder will work autonomously in their area but will receive supervision and support with regard to continuing professional development from a Senior Therapist.
A UK driving license holder and access to a vehicle is desirable
