Job Summary

The Role
Based within the core West Berkshire integrated Drug and Alcohol Service, this Recovery Practitioner role will support adults within the area to achieve their recovery journey goals, via 1:1s and structured groupwork packages.
The role will involve:
1. Delivering excellent drug and alcohol services to those who use our services and their significant others, including family members, friends, and carers, to facilitate positive outcomes.
2. Managing a caseload and coordinating and delivering assessment and evidence-based interventions (brief and structured), recovery planning, and aftercare planning.
3. Working collaboratively with colleagues and key stakeholders across multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring adherence to all Via policies and safeguarding principles.
Location
1 Station Road, Newbury, RG14 7LP (the role may also involve some outreach across the county)
The core hours of this role will be Monday- Friday 9am until 5pm, but there may be some occasional out of hours work which would be considered on a rota basis.
