As a Senior Commercial Account Handler you will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met with tailored solutions. You will provide expert advice on a range of insurance policies, guiding clients through coverage options and securing the best possible terms. Additionally, you will play a key role in supporting business growth within a dynamic brokerage, fostering strong relationships with clients and insurers to drive long-term success.
EXPERIENCE
Proven experience in Commercial Account Handling
Strong knowledge of General Commercial and Package Policies
Acturis proficiency preferred
Experience with mid-market and larger accounts
QUALIFICATIONS
Cert CII qualification (or working towards it) is a plus
SKILLS
Strong communication and relationship-building
Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritise tasks
Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
Proficiency in Acturis and broking platforms
Proactive and client-focused approach
DAY TO DAY
Manage client portfolios and ensure their needs are met
Handle renewals, mid-term adjustments, and new business
Negotiate with insurers for best terms and coverage
Ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant
Support Account Executives with client servicing
Maintain excellent customer service and relationships
Stay updated on industry trends and developments
