Saddleworth School is large, vibrant and popular 11-16 comprehensive school in attractive rural surroundings on the fringes of Oldham and require: We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Cover Manager to administer the cover arrangements for absent teaching staff at our school. In this vital role, you will be the main point of contact for staff and agencies and coordinate all aspects of cover planning while managing a team of Cover Staff to ensure the continuity of learning. Additionally, you will be required to supervise and support students by covering lessons or facilitating learning activities during the short-term absence of their teacher. Success in this position requires excellent organisational skills, strong communication abilities, effective management and a positive, solution-focused approach to thrive in a dynamic environment. This post requires a daily start at 7 am until 3 pm with a 40 minute lunch break.
