We are looking for a Promotions Executive, to join our Marketing team at our Travel Retail Head Office in Aldgate, central London. The main purpose of this role is managing the day to day delivery of printed POS and digital advertising screen materials to WHSmith Travel stores.
What you’ll do
1. Liaise with the Trading Teams regarding POS requirements and deadlines.
2. Write the Excel-based briefs for the Point Of Sale (POS) design, artwork and printing production.
3. Work closely with the artworkers, who take your brief through to art-working, and work closely with printers on the correct store distribution of POS.
4. Review artworks for accuracy and adherence to brand standards across our different brands, and feedback on amends as required, prior to final artwork approval by senior stakeholders.
5. Obtain cost estimates from the printers and secure cost approval for each job.
6. Ensure all key milestones and deadlines are met so all jobs land in store on time.
7. Retain control over multiple jobs at any given time, of varying size, complexity, brand, and country.
8. Take full ownership of each job you manage, from receiving the brief through to it being delivered to stores.
Who you are
1. You’ll come from a background of dealing with in-store POS / Marketing.
2. You’ll be familiar with using Excel to create sometimes complex briefs.
3. You’ll enjoy working with creative artworking teams.
4. Getting it right first time, with great attention to detail, is a key strength of yours.
5. The ability to multi-task comes naturally to you.
6. You’re happy working at pace and delivering to tight deadlines.
7. You’re a great communicator at all levels of seniority.
