What will you be doing?
We're seeking a talented individual to join our Settlements team in Glasgow, responsible for performing daily duties associated with all Settlement functions including but not limited to CREST, Jersey, unit Trusts, Cash Reconciliations, Fund Settlement, and Client money.
As Operations Executive - Settlements, your responsibilities will include:
* Ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard and within deadlines, reporting any anomalies to your line manager promptly while meeting personal and team KPI's / KRI's / MIR.
* Respond to telephone and email enquiries in a timely and professional manner, liaising with fund managers and external parties, escalating issues where necessary.
* Log, maintain, and respond to written client enquiries, ensuring all client and external documents are relevant and up to date.
* Adopt a high-quality culture to minimise errors, ensuring high service levels are delivered with accuracy in data input, document checking, and payments.
* Ensure fair treatment of clients is at the forefront of all activities, conducting interactions in an open and transparent manner.
* Demonstrate an understanding of the Group's Conduct Risk Framework, maintaining and developing knowledge and skills in line with industry, regulatory, and internal requirements through continuous professional development (CPD).
To be successful in this role, you should:
* Be educated to a degree or similar.
* Have a demonstrable interest in financial services, particularly investment management.
* Possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages: Minimum basic level Word and intermediate level Excel.
* Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally to senior audiences.
* Demonstrate the ability to understand and summarise complex information professionally and concisely with attention to detail.
* Organise workloads effectively and meet tight deadlines.
* Experience in a financial services institution, especially in Operations, is advantageous but not essential.
