South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture are looking for enthusiastic and motivated casual bar/waiting /front of house staff to work within their busy venues, Rutherglen Town Hall. You must be able to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
Successful candidates will provide practical assistance within the bar environment and front of house at a variety of events including weddings, parties and theatre productions - ensuring an excellent quality of service is delivered to our customers.
Bar duties will include serving customers, collecting payments and keeping the bar area clean and well stocked. Front of house duties will include ensuring all audience members tickets are checked and seated correctly.
You may be required to carry out some basic catering tasks.
Please note Applicants must be 18 years of age in order to comply with Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005.
RESPONSIBILITIES
To serve at the bar during functions and events.
To adhere to Licensing regulations.
To operate cash points or relevant cashless system and process sales.
To assist with setting up/clearing of bar area for functions and events.
Assist in stock rotation.
To maintain high hygiene standards.
To undertake practical tasks in relation to the storage, preparation, including the cleaning of floors, walls, and bar equipment.
