Position: Teaching Assistant
Location: Horsham, West Sussex
Contract Type: Full-time/Part-time
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
* Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
* Assist in the planning and preparation of learning activities.
* Work with small groups or individual students to provide additional support and intervention.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Help with the management of classroom resources and materials.
* Support students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
* Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
* Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and any issues that arise.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
* A genuine passion for education and helping students achieve their potential.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) are desirable but not essential.
