The main purpose of the role: As our Bank Front of House Tutor, you will is to ensure vocational training supports business needs and to develop further the highest professional standards within Front of House. As a tutor, you will to plan, prepare, deliver, and evaluate inspiring, engaging, and individualised sessions of the highest quality that challenge and stretch every student. We expect all tutors to support the students professionally, effectively, and sensitively in their learning, and manage student behaviour, seeking further advice and guidance where appropriate. Key duties: Deliver professional, inspiring, and engaging sessions of the highest quality that challenge and stretch every student, and in which they are motivated and engaged throughout. We expect every tutor to be fully engaged in the session without exception Plan and prepare robust and professional assessments, ensuring that all tracking (including base lining, target setting and review) and reports associated with these are completed accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner, and that any records are kept up to date. All tutors must be familiar with, and actively use the principles of RARPA (Recognising and Recording Progress and Achievement) and accredited Work professionally and collaboratively with all colleagues and teams across the Aurora Foxes, including the Therapy team and House Team Leaders, to analyse student performance and ensure that they make progress commensurate with their ability. Where underachievement is identified appropriate strategies should be implemented immediately and reviewed. Where overachievement is identified, targets should be reviewed, and further challenges agreed within teams and set. Ensure that all students receive professional, timely and effective feedback, with appropriate strategies (next steps) to improve their performance, and that such discussions are evidenced through effective and professional record keeping (Evaluations, Tutorials and Reviews). Prepare, direct and lead Learning Support Practitioners (LSPs) within your session. Ensure that LSPs contribute throughout the session including session evaluation and student assessments where applicable. Contribute professionally and constructively to any review and development of any course, scheme of work, quality assurance processes and procedures. Experience in vocational training. The skills to work within a Front of House role. Knowledge of assessing skills and knowledge using RARPA The skills to confidently lead students and LSPs within vocational training. A good understanding of quality assurance in an education or training setting, however training will be given on all processes. Hospitality qualification is desirable.
