Plater / Fabricator - Durham
GI Group is currently recruiting for a Plater / Fabricator on behalf of our client in Durham. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company specialising in the fabrication of structural steelwork, secondary steelwork, bespoke brackets, racking, and much more.
Key Responsibilities:
Fabrication of structural and secondary steelwork to specification
Working with mild steel, aluminium, and stainless steel
Interpreting engineering drawings and working to precise tolerances
Ensuring high-quality fabrication and welding standards
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Plater / Fabricator
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Experience working with various metals including mild steel, aluminium, and stainless steel
Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
Working Hours:
Monday - Thursday: 7:45 AM - 4:45 PM
Friday: 7:45 AM - 1:45 PM
37.5 hours per week
Pay Rate:
£15.00 per hour (PAYE)
