Job Title: Logistics Operations Excellence Manager

What you’ll be doing:
* Leading and facilitating logistics process improvement projects using Lean, and other continuous improvement methodologies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
* Developing and implementing operational excellence strategies across the business in alignment with UK Transport and Logistics strategy, ensuring integration with business processes and systems.
* Manage and influence internal and external stakeholder relationships to ensure successful delivery of logistics process improvement in line with UK Transport and Logistics strategy.
* Lead and influence cross-business/cross-functional team(s), providing expertise and delivery of business requirements.
* Be seen by internal and external stakeholders as a subject expert for warehouse efficiency within the business. Role holder will provide expertise, regularly partnering with others to meet strategic goals and support implementation of large scale change projects.
* Accountable for operational KPI improvement programmes.
* Ability to deputise for the Senior Manager.
Your skills and experiences:
* Comprehensive understanding of business process management (BPM) principles and concepts.
* Ability to align management systems and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
* Experienced in the use of project management techniques for successful implementation of improvement initiatives.
* Expertise in establishing logistics metrics to measure performance and drive ongoing improvement efforts.
* Good understanding of external logistics environment and relevant market trends.
* Ability to utilise data to identify root cause and inform robust business decisions.
* Experience operating 3PL warehousing and/or transport operations.
